Severe weather here in this part of Florida has a different array of severe weather types. We have intense lightning storms, straight line winds, waterspouts that sometimes turn into tornadoes as they come ashore, and also severe weather events such as microbursts and of course the mother of all storms HURRICANES. Over several years I have seen some crazy looking storms. These are the past three years of storm photography. I chose only 3 years cause it wasn't till February 2012 that I finally had enough money to purchase my first Canon DSLR Camera. When taking pictures of storms and storm structures always beware of LIGHTNING which can strike up to 20 miles outside the storm itself! Trust me I know first hand about the "Bolts from the Blue".
